XBOX 360
The future of gaming is now. The XBOX 360 device has led us into the future of entertainment the whole family can enjoy. Netflix is readily available wih a push of a button on the controller. The system will connect to Netflix and determine your video quality and within minutes you will be watching any movie you desire. The development of XBOX Live has a gamer playing someone possibly thousands of thousands of miles away or as close as next door. I am a die hard Madden Football fan. I've been a fan since 1994 and I would have never thought I would be able to play anyone online through Xbox Live! I ask myself what if there were no such thing as video games? How would I have survived as a teen being so "bored." This was also 20 years ago, before the internet was readily available.

ReplyDeleteEntertainment has definitely been revolutionized by advances in technology. Gaming systems have turned into a multi-media entertainment system, in particular the Xbox 360. As a gamer or just a viewer you can enjoy the 360 entirely. This system is compatible with computers and has a DVD device installed; not only can you watch movies you can also download movies, music or pictures directly into your Xbox 360’s hardrive. What makes it most appealing is the capability to enjoy online games, like Resident Evil 5 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Not only do you get to play with your family you can also enjoy online games and play with someone from another part of the U.S. For the modern family, with this one device you’re able to please more than one member. As we get better gaming systems, new and better games will be created for the enjoyment of all.
ReplyDeleteTechnology has allowed gaming to go into a whole new dimension. No one would have ever thought that you could play against someone in the same game on the other side of the world. Xbox 360 has allowed people to do just that. Anyone that has Xbox Live can play against other people with Xbox Live. Xbox Live allows users to be connected like the internet. You can talk with friends, watch movies, and even download games that you want to play. I enjoy playing Madden and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 when I am on Xbox Live. I play against people from all over the world. As time goes on, Xbox Live will develop new ways to advance the gaming experience.

The XBox 360 is an important contributor to the entertainment revolution today. It's a family's good friend, connecting one to many options of video quality. It keeps one from being bored. It has its drawbacks in many ways too. Children would normally go to the parks, gym, field, playgrounds or even visit a friend to play and interact, the XBOX 360 has limited all of these aspects of social networking and community building through physical contacts.
ReplyDeleteThe Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 have both extended beyond just video games. They have both become entertainment centers. They have the ability to connect to Facebook, chat to friends, play games, watch movies, listen to music and a plethora of other abilities. This is something society has pushed for. People are looking for more integration in a smaller package while being easy to use. Sony and Microsoft saw this and released their central entertainment boxes known as the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360. It already began to happen when the Playstation 2 was released. Sony was pushing the product as a gaming machine and also a DVD player. You wouldn't be able to sell a game system nowadays if it didn't have movie capabilities.
ReplyDeletenow most kids are inside playing video against their friends online instead of playing out side. you can do almost anything on a xbox now. you can order thousands of movies or play against people on the other side of the world. gaming has come so far since Nintendo and even Playstation one. i wonder what is next.
