Portable gaming is really cool, Gameboy and GameGear were awesome for their day; but now the PSP and the Nintendo DS rocks the stage. I have a PSP (Playstation Portable), it’s the coolest thing, the graphics are really good and the TV, speakers and controller is built in making this little gadget totally portable. Also is a great gaming system to bring to work, especially when you’re a Security Guard and your board out of your mind. The Nintendo DS is not one of my favorite systems to play games on, the graphics aren’t as good, but it’s still the same concept everything is built in, and its totally portable, the one thing I can say about the Nintendo DS is, the load times are much quicker, however ill stick with my PSP.
The Sony PSP is a great handheld gaming device. Like John said in his post, the graphics are leaps and bounds better than its Nintendo competitor and it does so much more. The Nintendo DS series is by far the most popular gaming system for kids under 12 but the PSP is for the serious gamer. I work in the video game department at my store and would recommend the PSP for someone who really wants to get the most out of their handheld. It is able to play movies, games and music. It basically does everything but make a phone call.
ReplyDeleteI've never really been a fan of handheld video games. I always felt that real gaming should be reserved for the house, since if you are out and about you probably have something more important to do than play video games. I know that isn't always the case though. Of course there are those times where you are stuck in a car for 2 hours, and you wish you had something to pass the time by. I just never really felt the need to buy or play these handheld devices myself. If I am really that bored, I just try to talk to people around me or use my imagination to pass the time by. My buddy passes his time by drawing in his notebook. I must be in the minority though, since the people who have developed this kind of handheld technology have sold millions of units all across the world.
ReplyDeleteMany devises are becoming more slim and portable. One does not need to carry a big laptop computer to access the internet because it is possible to browse the internet by using Iphones. Same as computers games are becoming portable. Entertainment machines like the PlayStation Portable are now light and portable. The console has LCD screens. One can watch movies and TV series, load up music and photos. People could also play games online and read digital comics by browsing the internet. The other portable game system Nintendo DS is many children favorite. The console has two LCD screens with the bottom one being a touch screen. Both children and adults play games on the go by using these portable devises.
