The worlds first video gaming console, the Magnavox Odyssey. This large nightmare of wires and plastic was the coolest back in 1972 when it was first introduced. The Odyssey had 24 games that people could play, and each game was a crazy looking cartridge with large pieces of metal sticking out of a black casing. their was no labels of the cartridges of the game just a number. Now heres the fun about the game. in order to play a game, the owner would have to have a TV size 18" to 24" and thats it nothing more or less. The screen for the game, was a piece of plastic the user had to place the screen. Check this link's out, to better understand the odyssey and just about gaming in general.
